Only hinting at the traditional color palette of the fall season. Bringing in deep purple, greenery, pink pepperberry and a peppy ole' cattail on top.
birds of paradise in paradise
Find the wild-looking green lotus pod, nestled among coral roses and birds of paradise, softly framed by swiss cheese monster.
wedding floral 3-piece
Absolutely adored making the bride's bouquet, flower crown and groom's boutonniere. This palette is just outstanding.
Long-lasting yellow craspedia hovers above a mix of cool green plants in concrete.
dried California-grown statice
I always adore taffy-lavender and fuschia. The orchids at the base hold it all together.
Lemony tulips with feathery-edged petals among delicate seeded eucalyptus for a great scent, atop tight buds of rich cherry alstroemeria to open up and last. Concrete planter for urban edge.
pretty and pale with minimal brights for contrast
Aussie native stems like protea, pinkmink, callistemon, bottlebrush and blooming eucalyptus
Love Symbol #2
Pantone's new shade honors Prince and his impossibly original and incredibly prolific contribution to the canon of American rock 'n' roll. As I clicked my browser window to learn more, I realized that my desktop computer background was not only solid purple, it's only a few shades off from his. The beautiful ones!
Sculptural, fragrant and dreamy, made of California grown lilies, ranunculus, veronica, lush stock, greens and bentwood.

Still Life Still Has Life
A floral flatlay with decay appeals to my teenage goth self. The colors of pale lavender and deep purple are from the same exact stem of the lisianthus just at varying stages of bloom. There is always so much to love even in a dried flower state. Fresh, not fake, forever!

Black Roses on a Bright Day
Just back from a family girls' trip to London! There were six of us aged 16 to 80 celebrating with a spectacular dinner at the Wolesey. Lucky us!
Made sure to visit the Columbia Road Flower Market in East London, open on Sundays only and was built in 1866 and going strong. It was a joy to see droves of people carrying oversized wonderful plants and armloads of fresh flowers to grace their English homes. Inspiration is everywhere.
